Job Responsibilities
We are looking for experienced Industrial Grinders to join our European industrial, fabrication, and shipbuilding projects.
• Perform grinding, cutting, deburring, and surface preparation of steel components
• Remove weld spatter, excess weld material, rust, and sharp edges
• Grind and finish welded joints according to project quality requirements
• Prepare metal surfaces before and after welding
• Use angle grinders and other power tools safely and efficiently
• Inspect finished surfaces and ensure the required quality standards are met
• Work closely with welders and fitters during fabrication and assembly
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
Job Requirements
• Previous experience as an Industrial Grinder or Metal Grinder
• Experience in shipbuilding, steel fabrication, construction, or heavy industry preferred
• Confident use of angle grinders and industrial power tools
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and work instructions
• Knowledge of metal finishing and surface preparation techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical condition and attention to detail
• Ability to pass a practical skill test
